60A ESC Red

An opto-isolated brushless ESC rated 60A continuous and 80A burst. 2S–6S LiPo with BLHeli firmware support.

The electronic speed controller (ESC) delivers battery power to the motor in a controlled way. When choosing one, make sure its continuous current rating is at least 20% above the motor’s maximum current and that it supports your LiPo cell count.

During setup put the throttle at minimum, connect the battery and calibrate the ESC from the transmitter. The BEC output powers the receiver and servos; if you run many servos you may need an external BEC. Place the ESC where it gets airflow.

For heat tolerance keep wires short, solder connectors cleanly and insulate joints with heat-shrink. Moving up to the next current rating is the safest fix for an ESC that overheats.
